A co-production with Fabriktheater Rote Fabrik Zurich, Theater Chur, Theaterfestival “jungspund” St.Gallen, Roxy Birsfelden

Premiere:

Fabriktheater, Rote Fabrik Zurich

What do you do when you get really angry? Throw your cell phone against the wall? Or just smile and pretend it didn't happen?Anger is a powerful emotion. Everyone knows it, but everyone experiences it differently. It can be destructive and stressful, or silent and subliminal, then powerful and liberating. Anger gives us energy and can express injustice.

In this performance, we explore together what power of change lies in anger. We deal with our own anger and think about how we can use it. And where anger destroys relationships, objects or a political discourse, we look for ways to repair such cracks.

We invite you to unabashedly bathe in your own anger and think about its socio-political significance.

"Anger" is an interactive performance and multimedia installation. The participants wear headphones and actively participate in the event. With personal interviews, playful moments and lots of live music, they immerse themselves in their own anger and the power of this emotion. The performance builds a bridge from individual experience to the socio-political implication of anger.
